Opening of “PC Factory” PC Assembly Experience at KidZania

Mouse Computer Co., Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary of the Company, is exhibiting, in an official sponsorship capacity, pavilion spaces at “KidZania Koshien” and “KidZania Tokyo,” facilities run by KCJ GROUP INC., where young people can come and enjoy professional and social based experiences.
This initiative is one of our activities in service of reaching SDG goal “4. Quality Education,” which we have positioned as one of our priority areas in our ESG policy. The goal of this initiative is to allow young people to learn about the possibilities brought about by personal computers in enriching people’s lives by providing them with the experience of assembling one, which we also hope will expose them to the joy of making things.

Provision of Products to Remote Islands in Kagoshima Prefecture

We have taken the decision to provide high-spec personal computers geared specifically toward programming and the STEAM environment to the ORINACE ACADEMY, a publicly managed cram school operated by the town of Wadomari, located on Okinoerabujima, a remote island in Kagoshima Prefecture.
The running of this initiative is sponsored by Teach For Japan, a certified Specified Nonprofit Corporation which we have been donating to for some time. The plan is for our personal computers to be used for a range of tasks, including use in a publicly managed cram school specializing in science, for independent research, STEAM programming, as well as for programming classes and other events.

TKG Association, a public interest incorporated foundation in which our Company Chairman & CEO, Yuji Takashima, serves as the Representative Director, was established with the aim of contributing to the development of science, technology, and industry both within Japan and globally, while also helping ensure prosperity for people and to help protect the environment. It aims to do this by providing assistance in the training of human resources enrolled in Japanese universities and graduate schools in the fields of science, technology, and computer science in addition to providing assistance in experimentation and research.
